A Really Chic Sun Hat

I first discovered Janessa Leone Hats upon moving to Los Angeles and have to say have been obsessed with pretty much everything she comes up with. For our trip to Tulum I treated myself to the Klint hat and I’m so glad I did because the quality of this is second to none, and the style is completely timeless, so it’s probably the only sun hat you’ll ever need to buy. It looks amazing wth a white tee and vintage denim, with a bikini, or with little summer dresses. A worth while investment but one thats practical and chic at the same time.

Sunscreen But Better

Yes I know its tedious but you’ll thank me later! Sunscreen is hands down the most essential beauty item you should be packing when you’re off on your holidays, and nowadays there’s a formula to suit everyone and every skin type. If you’re looking for really clever sunscreen though it’s time you check out Glossier Invisible Shield. I LOVE this in my pro kit and it really is completely clear, so no greasy residue and no white cast. Perfect for every skin tone, a truly universal product! For my other sunscreen recommendations read this post.

Shop Your Stash Multi Purpose Makeup Palette

Hopefully you’ll be having way too much fun to even think about wearing makeup, but lets say the mood strikes and you feel like a little song and dance in your hotel bathroom, and you know, you just fancy putting on some slap, what you need is the ultimate makeup palette. But where does one find such a thing….. well you make it yourself! Here me out, as the queen of decanting its no surprise I’ve taken depotting to new heights, but grab a load of your fave cream products (it will be too hot for powder anyway) and smash them into your own little custom palette, add mascara and your good to go. I love the vueset palettes, or if you find yourself near a makeup trade shop check out there selection of empty palettes (or you can try this amazing website too). I like to take a stick foundation, a solid cream concealer, a cream shadow, a highlighter, a cream blush and a cheek colour that doubles up nicely on the lips. Get creative, mix the shades together and this may just become your favourite item in your makeup stash!
