  • Never not obsessed with skin! A couple of my current pro kit faves include @sisleyparisusa Black Rose Cream Mask - essential for red carpet clients especially if they've just landed after a long haul flight.
@skyniceland Hydra Cool Firming Eye Gels - these create a beautiful canvas for concealer and hydrating under the eyes as well as acting like a barrier for any fallen eyeshadow/ or to help you mark out shadow application.
@biossance Squaline and Vitamin C Rose Oil for the softest skin that doesn't make makeup move.
Whats your current skin obsessions?

Todays @fullcoveragepod advent challenge is 'Go Big Or Go Brown' and we all know I love a brown eyeshadow. I do appreciate theres a million neutral palettes out there but I will never stop collecting any and every shade of brown eyeshadow, it just makes me happy and is such a part of my makeup uniform. Which advent day are you most looking forward to? You can shop this look at my liketoknowit account or (linked in my bio under shop my insta)

  • Todays blog post is all about assisting in the makeup world, more specifically the do's and dont's. I assisted for three years (one of those as a first assistant) when I first started out and it really helped me learn my craft and find my own makeup style. I also found assisting a few different people really enriching because I learnt different styles and techniques which helped shape my own. It also provided a realistic portrayal of day to day life as like as a working Mua, the fun stuff and the challenges. I also assisted backstage at fashion week at Milan and London when I first moved to London which made me speedy when I have to be, so assisting has also helped make me more efficient. Its not to say its the only way to get into the industry but my experience definitely impacted my career for the better. If you're assisting at the moment or looking to get into assisting I'd love to know any burning questions you have about it?

  • Throwing it back to this lovely lady @iamfoxes makeup by me. We both loved a bit of Jane Birkin and always loved a 60's eye look. This one was all about the lashes. Do you find theres a particular era in makeup you lean toward or get inspired by?
